Privacy policy

This site, bollywoodspicesbooking.com, is run by MBS Hospitality (a partnership firm), trading as Bollywood Spices, Near Ishwar Sweets, Kalka–Shimla National Highway, Vill Koti, Post Jabli, Distt Solan, Himachal Pradesh 173220, India. We decide what is done with your details, and we are responsible for them.

• Your booking: your name, your WhatsApp number, the number of guests, the day, time, lounge and table, and anything you write in “Anything we should know?”.
• Your payment: the amount, its status and Razorpay’s payment ID. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay’s page and never reach us.
• Messages: which WhatsApp messages we sent about your booking and whether they were delivered.
• Security: your connection’s IP address with each booking and each wrong code entered, to stop misuse and repeated guessing.

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t build profiles of you.

• To hold your table, and to recognise you when you arrive.
• To send your confirmation, a reminder the day before, a payment link if you asked for one, and a note if your booking is cancelled, all on WhatsApp.
• To take the advance, and to refund it under our cancellation rules.
• To keep the accounts and tax records the law asks of us.

You give your consent by making a booking. We send no promotional messages.

We never sell your details. They reach only the services that run this site for us, for the reasons above:

• Razorpay — takes the payment and the refunds.
• Meta (WhatsApp) — delivers our WhatsApp messages to your number.
• Vercel (hosting) and Neon (the database, kept in Singapore) — store and serve the site.

Our own staff see a booking only as far as their work at the restaurant needs it. We share details with authorities only when the law requires it.

To save you typing next time, your phone keeps your name, your number and the bookings you made or opened, in this browser’s own storage. It never leaves your phone, and you can remove any booking from the list under “Already booked?”.

Booking and payment records are kept as long as our accounts and tax records must be kept under Indian law. Security records are kept only as long as they are useful for stopping misuse.

You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to erase it once we no longer need to keep it by law. You can also withdraw your consent; we can then no longer hold a table for you online. Write to bollywoodspicesbooking@gmail.com from anywhere in India and we will reply within 7 working days.
