Cancellation & refunds

Some tables ask for an advance to hold them. The amount depends on the table and the lounge, and is shown before you pay. It is not an extra charge: it comes off your bill at the restaurant. It is paid to MBS Hospitality through Razorpay, a payment gateway regulated in India.

Each lounge has its own cancellation rule. It is shown on the payment page before you pay, on your booking, and again before you confirm a cancellation. For example: “Cancel at least 24 hours before your booking and the advance comes back to you.”

• Cancelled in time: the full advance is refunded by itself. You don’t need to ask.
• Cancelled after that time: the advance is kept, if the lounge’s rule says so.
• Where no rule is shown: the restaurant reviews the cancellation and tells you whether the advance is refunded.
• Not arriving without cancelling: the advance is not refunded.

You can move your booking to another time from the same page, when a table is free. The advance moves with it.

• The restaurant has to cancel your booking on its side, for example because it closes that day.
• Your payment arrived after the 10 minutes the table was held for you and the table had been taken. Refunded by itself.
• You paid twice for one booking: the second payment is refunded by itself. A payment of a different amount from the one shown is refunded in full.

A refund goes back to the same card, UPI account or bank you paid from. Once started, it usually reaches you in 5–7 working days, depending on your bank. If money left your account but the payment failed, your bank or Razorpay returns it by itself, usually within the same time.
